I'm an Automation Operator (Flow Controller) at Vanderlande's Moorebank facility — one of Australia's most advanced warehouse automation sites. My role involves monitoring and optimising high-volume automated material handling systems, responding to operational alerts, and ensuring continuous flow with minimal downtime across 24/7 operations.

Day to day I work with Vanderlande, Toyota automotive systems, SCADA platforms, ASRS, robotic sorters, Cyklop Packing Systems, and Dematic cranes. I clear system jams, perform low-risk maintenance tasks, coordinate with maintenance and client teams, and mentor new operators through onboarding.

My Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) from Sydney Flight College gives me a disciplined, safety-first approach that directly translates to managing complex automated systems under pressure. SOP adherence, situational awareness, and composure during faults aren't just aviation skills — they're what keeps a warehouse running.
